M83 Announces Fall Tour

We still don’t know too much about what Anthony Gonzalez, aka M83, has in store for us on his still-untitled sixth album aside from what we heard in that brief teaser video. But I think it’s safe to assume he has something especially grandiose in the works, what with the announcement that it will be an “epic double-album” and all. Although, Gonzalez calling anything he does as M83 “epic” is kind of obvious at this point, particularly after his (fantastic) John Hughes-ish 2008 effort, Saturdays=Youth.

What we do know, though, is that Gonzalez will be hitting the road this fall, which is when he is also expected to drop his new album. His schedule takes him all over the U.S. and into parts of Mexico and Canada, though it’s unknown who will serve as his opening act(s). I’d expect someone…synth-y.
