Listen: Kid Cudi “King Wizard”

It’s good to know that Kid Cudi doesn’t keep us waiting like his fellow G.O.O.D. Music compadres do. Just a few days after being previewed on YouTube, here we have Cudi’s brand new single “King Wizard” in its full glory.

Now his 2009 debut, Man on the Moon: The End of the Day, may have captured audiences for its otherworldly sound — thanks largely to the production of Emile, Plain Pat and Ratatat — but just like its predecessor, “Just What Iam,” this new track sees Cudder himself take us on a journey through the Universe with a self-crafted sci-fi instrumental. Even better, it looks like that intoxicating rapping-crooning concoction is back for good.

“King Wizard” serves as the second sample of Cudi’s forthcoming third solo album, Indicud, which the man himself describes as “the greatest album ever made.” [Complex]
