‘Digi Snacks’ info from RZA

This is the “clean” version of the cover art for RZA’s new album Digi Snacks. His return to the hedonistic crime-fighting alter ego of Bobby Digital marks the end of a seven-year break since Digital Bullet. “This world wasn’t in a digital format in 1998,” explains RZA. “Now digital is the most compelling form of commerce and entertainment so this is like a re-launch of the character.” Collaborators on the album include guitarist John Frusciante, Dhani Harrison, The Black Knights, Dexter Wiggles, Shavo Odadjian, Reverend William Burke, Stone Mecca, Thea, and it includes one track produced by David Banner. The album is set for a July release and RZA will be touring around the country this summer with future-soul group Stone Mecca as his backing band. “You get the Manga, you get the Martial Arts, you get the Sci-Fi, you get the Blaxploitation, but you still get your real life because I’m a real person.”
