Green Day is recording a new album and the band is busy working on a film adaptation for one-time album, now one-time Broadway show, American Idiot. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong also just started a family band. So, I bet you’re wondering what the Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool are doing with all their free time.
Well, Green Day is part of a current campaign for menswear brand John Varvatos. The California trio once known as The Sweet Childern will join The Roots, Cheap Trick, Iggy Pop and Alice Cooper as representatives for the line. Question: did anybody who listened to Green Day growing up ever figure they would see Dirnt or Cool doing what basically amounts to modeling?
