In case anyone here cares about soccer as much as I do.

I'm a US soccer fan and an Arsenal fan, which meant few things made me happier in sports this year than watching Landon Donovan break Ashley Cole's ankle. Not that it ended up mattering in any case (relatedly: why couldn't Drogba wait a few months before breaking his arm?)

Who ya guys got? If we get an England-Argentina final, the world may explode.

Drogba was disappointing, I was picking Ivory Coast to do the best of the African nations and upset Portugal in the groups, but without Drogba that shit changed from improbable to impossible...

I have Netherlands beating Spain in the final... If Spain v. Argentina in the semis occurs it should be the best match of the tourney.

Havent made any picks... I dont really know the strength of all the squads to be honest.

I know Spain looks pretty good  and they are as poised as anyone to make the final.

Im gonna be in vegas during  some of this action so I should probably start my research so I can make educated bets.

Id like to see England win the thing.  And since I dont have an official nation in the tourney I'll throw my spirit behind Mexico.

Furthermore I'll probably throw some cash on North Korea, cause the payout will be so big.

N Korea has to play Brazil. Ouch.

S Korea is up against Greece. Heard they have a tough draw in general
