Terrible decision in this fight in my opinion, Belcher was taking it to him for the second two rounds and Akiyama just seemed worn out...

I think it was a close call but not a "robbery," which I read Joe Rogan announced during the telecast. I was at a bar with the sound turned down, but no one booed or anything when Akiyama was announced the winner. I thought Akiyama won the first and the third. I think the takedown in the third sealed the win. The scoring system in the UFC makes no sense. How can it be a 10 point system when there are usually three rounds.

I guess the dude judged to win the fight on a whole gets the extra credit in a 10 pnt 3 round system,, I have no idea though it doesnt add up at all..

 

i think they should just look at the fight overall and award a winner.
