We cursorily tried to launch a section called "Prefix Picks" before, but if I remember correctly, that was really for albums we liked, and we never really populated it. But this could be great for the site, mostly because it will slice through the broad universe of the bands we cover and get right to what we think is the good stuff.

I'm not keen on "Prefix Picks" as a name for this, and we'd love to hear your suggestions. Essentially, we want to let our readers know what new bands we’re most excited about. We need to find a name to suit that goal.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The 'Fix is good because it plays off our name, but it doesn't quite describe the category well enough. It's very clear, for example, what "Best New Music" or "Band to Watch" means.

Is that too condescending? Hah. I was trying to play off of the way hipsters love to know about bands before everybody else but couldn't think of something that was nice enough...this is tough!
