It can't be coincidence that it's usually the Lakers who benefit from terrible reffing in the playoffs. I remember when they beat Sacramento in 2002. Games 6 and 7 are two of the worst officiated games ever. Everyone was ripping the NBA a new one . Jay Leno even had Bibby on afterward -in L.A.! God bless the Celtics.

Brent Barry on the NBA acknowledging a foul should have been called on his last-second 3-pt. attempt against the Lakers:
"That's awesome," Barry said, "because Doc Brown is waiting for me outside, and we're going to get in the DeLorean and fire up the flux capacitor and we're going to go back and shoot a couple of free throws." |
