I grew up eating Hershey's and Snickers bars and I haven't had a sweet tooth in years, but tonight I had the urge to get some chocolate.
Instead of the $.75 candy bar, I decided to go with a premium chocolate. I went for Liindt & Sprungli, it's pretty good but cost $3. The bodega had other brands like Red & Black (I think that was the name) that were $4 a bar. I wonder if that stuff is better than what I'm eating. Any of you guys get the fancy chocolate? |

If you want something that's nicer than a Hershey bar but still cheap and available at Walgreen's, Cadbury's chocolate bars are pretty good.
If I'm splurging, I get Vosges chocolate. The company is Chicago-based, but there's locations in NY and Las Vegas now. I'm not sure how extensive their coverage is, but Whole Foods and coffee shops will sometimes carry it, as well. They put fun things like chili peppers or bacon into the chocolate. My favorite is the Barcelona bar, with almonds and sea salt, but they cost about $7. |

My friend just told me about Vosges. I was all with it until I read this bit:
I dunno about that. |

Well, you don't have to buy the Bacon Bar. But bacon and chocolate = awesome.
