So I'm watching tv and I see an ad for Zyrtec that proclaims it's the best over the counter allergy medicine. I'm guessing it just went over the counter because I don't remember hearing of it before and I've used Claritin and Benedryl in the past.

Anyways, have any of you guys tried it? Better or worse than Claritin? 

ive been using it since i was 13 and i swear by it.

its been prescription for a long time and just recently went over the counter.  the best part is that it helps with indoor allergies like dogs and cats and dust etc... 

it works with indoor allergies? i'm definitely buying some of this today.

i blame my allergies for all my failures in life. 

supposedly, you need to switch up your allergy meds every few years, or they stop working.  I switched to non-toxic household cleaners a few years ago and my indoor allergies have practically dissapeared. When I go to my folk's house though, I feel like I'm getting the flu, then I feel better as soon as I leave.

As for outdoor allergies, believe it or not, eating a local honey will increase your immunity to pollen based allergies.
