I wish I made 800 a week. These broads are better off than me, and I'm supposed to feel bad they can't get jobs? That's whacktarded.

nah, I don't think so. I sometimes go there because my sister lives in the area. It's really not a dive bar at all. Maybe I should go now and talk some sense to them. Or try and hook up.

1600 a month? In what universe is that a terrible wage to live on for one person? I understand that might not be much in NYC, but for 1600 a month here, I could live like the Sultan of Brunei (seriously, I could make it rain up in this bitch). I mean, I get if she had kids that would be horrible, but she's like 25 and single. What the fuck is she crying about?

In NYC, $1600 is like poverty level.

Yeah but rent is probably cheaper in Hoboken. Or get a roomate.
I get that it's way less than what she made before, but seriously, she's lucky to have a job that pays her as much as she's getting now. |

Hoboken is actually probably more expensive. I'm around the same wage, but I make ends (barely) meet by not living in fancy neighborhoods and not drinking. Except for that Bottle of E&J we downed last night while watching Belly.

For 1600 a month, I could drink all day, every day here, no problemo. Pints are like 2 bones.
I guess it's the rent that's terrible. With a roomie, I pay only 450 a month here (and when I lived in Minnesota, it was 300). That would leave me with like 1100 of funnie munnie. |
