I've got a "thing" for Javier Bardem ever since I saw Before Night Falls. That "thing" required that I love No Country For Old Men. But even in the absence of said "thing" I think I'd love the movie.

I was really dissapointed by this movie. Excellent  screenplay and cinematography along with superb performances by Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem couldn't save there fact there was no reason for Tommy Lee Jones and Woody Harrelson to be in this movie.

Maybe it was because I've never read the book, but I thought the ending blew hard.

TLJ, actually, did a pretty fair job. Woody Harrelson is in it for like 25 mins and character is completely undeveloped and completely inconsequential to what happens in the movie.  The biggest crime, though, is that his character had the capacity to take this already great story to a new level, but he never does. I can't go into detail without spoiling the conclusion, but I wish I could go in and rework the whole storyline.

But Daba what's up? I saw postings from Silentbob and Justin, anyone else from the old shins board still around?

I think the Coen brothers just based Anton Chigurh on Leonard Smalls from Raising Arizona and made him a bit meaner.
