Wearing a tie to the office?

When I used to work office jobs I wore ties occassionally, the ladies appreciated the effort, most dudes seemed to look at me like "wtf does this young'en think he's doing out-dressing me"...

Ya, that's what I did at my last job but the one I start next week it's like tie 24/7.

Also Abe is scaring me in that pic.

I wear my pajamas to work, so I'm probz not the best person to ask.

You're just lucky Prefix has a flexible dress code.

I'm known to wear a suit and tie to work... on Halloween. Srsly.

The last time I wore a tie was when I worked at Macy's for four hours last October.

At NYSE you have to wear a tie.  As a programmer I'm not sure why this is, maybe if tourists see you walking in you look important?  At IBM it was the complete opposite, shorts, t shirts, jeans.  It was almost a contest on who could dress worse.  I actually liked wearing ties.

I've worn ties at job interviews and funerals and to hockey but never in an office environment.

I'm actually an enormous bunny who sits a slightly frightened girl on my lap everyday while I blog. Too real.
