I got mine working with Bluetooth but not USB. They better not charge me or try to charge $55 for it in the future though...

Just turn it on in your network settings on the phone, and if your laptop and iphone are both on bluetooth discoverable then you can use the signal on the cpu... also internet sharing has to be enabled on the laptop...
