I tipped over my Amstel Light onto my Macbook an hour ago and as soon as it happened the computer shutdown. I dried what I could with paper towels and then started holding the thing upside down and shaking it a bit.

 

It took a while, but after finding a tutorial on taking the computer apart, I opened it up to let it dry, but it already seemed pretty dry. Now I just have to wait and hope that it works. Ugh.

This summer, when I found out that Joanna Newsom was playing with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra I got so excited that I somehow poured a glass of water into my keyboard (ibook). I completely ruined it, but the computer was fine.

It seemed alright but then when I tried typing things were messed up. Certain letters like "o" wouldn't work and the return and delete buttons. It also was ony typing in cap locks. I shut it down and will probably try again tomorrow.

How do you justify that to the Genius Bar staff?

Then drink PBR. Though, I am biased towards the Wisconsin-based brews. I don't drink that on a "I'm ironically cool" level--I drink it because I'm too poor to buy anything that doesn't cost a buck a can.

I'm Canadian, so I shouldn't admit this, but Pabst is..

 

 

Pabst is the best cheap beer. But it also tends to give you the worst beer shits in the history of mankind. Don't ever pair it with anything spicy, because you will be dropping deuces that could drown villages.

And as a side note-- I always giggle like a motherfucker when I go to certain bars and they have Molson's listed as an import. It's listed right above Dos Equis underneath this shitty bar I used to go to in my hometown.
