Pierre McGuire is that little tool they have stand between the benches right? Because that guy is so fucking stupid. Everything is "amazing" "outstanding" and "unbelievable" with that fucker. Last night he kept interrupting during the Hawks game to talk about Sami Pahlsson telling people to calm down on the bench like it was Sherman leading people through Georgia in the Civil War. I'm sure every Blackhawk knew that they needed to chill the hell out, and Pahlsson was just close enough to Pierre for him to hear it. It's sooooooo annoying.

I remember Irbe had an ad in a magazine called Goalies' World wanting to buy people used equipment just so that he didn't have to change up his model of helmet and pads. When I go to my parents' place I'll see if I can scan it.

That's funny. You used to play between the pipes right Bob? Did you play like Irbe?

I still dabble between the pipes but it's with players nowhere nears as good as I used to. Being a couple inches taller and "several" pounds heavier, it's pretty hard playing like him.

What Style you rocking? The Vezina stand-up? The butterfly, the two pad stack?

Not quite butterfly. Three or four coaches compared my style to Huet's.

 

I can only remember pulling the two pad stack out twice in games. The second time was in the finals of a tournament back in midget. There was a two on one and I absolutely robbed the guy who got the pass. We were up 3-0 at that point and I really didn't care. The final score was 5-0 or something.

Penguins/Capitals in round two, y'all. NBA Playoffs can take a vacation, for all I care. This will be momentous.

Crosby vs Ovechkin... should be Malkin vs Ovechkin.

Ovechkin is defs better than the Crosbys.

The Devils' loss was especially surprising cause it was from two softies that Brodeur let in... Me thinks Luongo will be team Canada's goalie by the time the olympics roll around...

 

Also in regards to NHL '93,, the Leafs roster was bad-ass that season, Wendel, Gartner and Gilmour on a line = ruthless...
