Have you guys been watching? Seems to be way less buzz this season. I heard it wasn't as good this year, but have only seen one episode.

Brett McKenzie and Jemaine Clement bring the Conchords' second season to DVD Aug. 4. The two-disc set features a 10-episode run, trimmed down from the 12-episode version of the original.

I was wondering when this was going to come out. I know that the series is over now--they axe it at the end. They didn't rule out coming back, but after their tour, they're going to take a break. A friend told me the song's aren't as good, but the comedy part is funnier, because the stories didn't have to fit around songs they already had finished. I only saw the opening episode, so I can't really say.

The songs are terrible in the new season, with a couple exceptions.. .I think they rushed writing them due to the powers that be HBO...


Murray cracks me the f* up though, which kind of made it watchable.. also if you find yourself watching any episodes..  try to pay attention to the new posters in his office every episode, my favourite was "New Zealand, better than Old Zealand!"
