But that's how my website SkaPunkAndOtherJunk.com (now readjunk.com) began back in 1997. The url was something like /Palms/SunsetStrip/2015. holy moly cant believe I still remember it haha |

I remember being on a dial up modem and connecting to aol. I used to chat about "Indie Rock" with random strangers in their chat rooms. I made friends with this one girl and we wrote each other actual letters. She actually introduced me to Built To Spill's There's Nothing Wrong with Love. She even sent me a photo. I thought she was pretty then my first week of college she wrote me a letter that had a sample of the shampoo she used. I thought that was awesome, but then as I read on she talked about how she hooked up with her RA and some other guy her first week of class. and with that my heart was broken. |

I used to chat in the "mosh pit" chat room back in the day.
Sending shampoo? thats kind of weird dont you think? haha. But then again, good thing it wasn't toothpaste. |
