Alright, i'm not going to get my music from my friend any time soon.
Tell me, what are the best music blogs out there.
Robin Hood has been deleted, again.
Others I check out:
Bolachas Gratis no-datta blogspot Anacusic We Are The Brain Washers
Name some.

Hi hi Banger. I don't know how well our tastes align, but these are my favorites:
http://songbytoad.com (lots of bland indie pop, but he writes exactly as he speaks, posts a lot about Edinburgh bands, and his podcasts are pretty great) http://detailedtwang.blogspot.com (obscure garage rock) http://goretro.typepad.com/edna_million/ (doesn't post too regularly, but always leaves a few great old R&B or garage choices) http://buscateunnovio.blogspot.com/ (can't read a damn word of it, but there are occasionally good bootleg links) http://blog.sailorjerry.com/ (one of my favorites, lots of great punk and rock, old and new)
And. Not sure if this is of value to you, though maybe someone else would be happy to find it - not technically a blog, but the largest collection I've ever seen of Pete Doherty/Libertines/Babyshambles bootlegs and acoustic versions, posted to a site by a really fantastic photographer: http://version2.andrewkendall.com/pages/misc/babyshambles2.php |

By the way, what was Robin Hood? If you're looking for an abundance of full albums, Hipinion-style, I'd go to the forums at QuestionableContent.net. That's where I found a whole buncha leaks and things.

I used to go to rbally.net for full live shows but it's been on and off for the last while. captainsdead.com is good for live music too. pop-apocalypse.blogspot.com/ uploads a new album leak every day. If it isn't new then it's recent. http://the-roadhouse-viander.blogspot.com/ mixes is up quite a bit. Sometimes there are full discographies. |
