Tyler Hinman's life changed in ninth grade, when a teacher gave him a crossword puzzle to pass the time in study hall. Hinman, now 24, went on to become the Tiger Woods of word games, winning the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament for the past four years. His feverish solving skills leave rivals—and us—dumbstruck.
