Horrible no call in the Eagles/Cardinals game on 4th and 10. That was clearly pass interference although the Eagles still had a ways to go to score.

The refs love the Steelers. Terrible roughing the kicker call towards the end of the first half.

Officiating in football is the worst.

Rex Ryan is new coach of the NY Jets

NEW YORK – The New York Jets reached an agreement with Rex Ryan to make the Baltimore defensive coordinator their head coach, a person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Monday. The person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the four-year deal was not yet finalized, said it was expected to be done in the next few days.

 

The 46-year-old Ryan replaces the fired Eric Mangini. Ryan takes over a team that started last season 8-3 but missed the playoffs with quarterback Brett Favre after losing four of its last five games.

McGahee released from hospital.

 

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Ravens running back Willis McGahee returned to his Baltimore home Monday after spending the night in a Pittsburgh hospital recovering from a helmet-to-helmet hit in the AFC championship game against the Steelers.

 

McGahee was carted from the field on a stretcher Sunday after colliding with Steelers safety Ryan Clark. The play occurred in the fourth quarter of Pittsburgh's 23-14 victory.

 

Although he had significant neck pain, McGahee had movement in his arms and legs after the hit. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and held overnight for observation.
