i was looking at this article in Wired a few months back where they had these tiny pixel portraits of a bunch of artists. It took my a while but I think I got them all. Anyone care to try?

im still sort of doubtful about 3rd row 3rd column... also 4th row 1st column.

 

can you spot hall and oates? I think thats one of the best ones.

i think i saw the answers to this when it came out but maybe i'm off. 

second row, third from the right. oates moustache is big.

 

there are answers to this? are they only in the print mag?  i had to double check my answers by going through every one of the portraits on the artist's website.

 

2nd row 3rd in looks like AC/DC

 

fleetwood mac next to kiss, bee gees bottom left,  amy winehouse third row second from right, and is that kraftwork in th red shirts on the bottom row?

bottom row,  3rd in,  culture club..?

and im assuming the 9 brothers on the 2nd last row furthest left are WU.

...also aerosmith above zz top and elvis.

 

al, i think you're right about culture club. that one is hard.

 

just now I think 5th row all the way to the left is cheap trick.  

I can't stare at the screen like that for too long, I maybe start hearing a lot of bad music.
