Got this off the Mish list.

 

Page Six Magazinereports that on Halloween, recently divorced actor Bill Murray showed up at a hipster loft party in East Williamsburg. He drank a few Modelo Especial beers, danced with the girls, and engaged in a conversation with the party's host about how much they both enjoyed sweet potato casserole. Then one of the guests, somewhat tactlessly, approached the actor and said, "I think you're making bad life choices." Mr. Murray thanked the host and left.

Apparently, the youth of New York City have had several encounters of this sort with the actor; he seems to just sort of show up places. On Halloween, Mr. Murray was party-hopping with the dance pop band MGMT, whose show he attended earlier that evening at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Earlier that month....

At lollapalooza they had a crowd that was comparable to any of the headliners.

I was unaware of the extent of their success. Either way... it blows my mind. 

When I saw them in 05 touring with Of Montreal, they looked like nothing more than a gag act.

He is a weak man, a murderer of lambs, a despicable hedonist who waves the white flag welcoming the end of American moral and economic primacy. He is a harbinger of our death as a culture, the death of that preëminent philosophy of faith married to capitalism that has saved the world countless times from repression and annihilation. Bill Murray is a fatal disease and the sad news we bring you today is that your children have been infected.
