Any of you guys going to watch this fight? I'm thinking about going to a bar to watch it. I'd love for Tappia to win, but it doesn't seem like a fair fight on paper.

Oh I'm losing it. hahahaha. I'm thinking about the big MMA fight tonight with Manny Tapia. I meant Pacquio.

I can not wait for this fight. I dont really watch boxing anymore, but this is a pretty big event for the filipino community.
Plus those 24/7 HBO pre fight specials suck me in every time. |

Owned him on saturday night... that was fantastic to watch.
I never liked De La Hoya... Im glad Manny was the last stop in his career. |

It was pretty sad to watch, really. Love him or hate him, De La Hoya has done a lot for the sport, so to watch him get thoroughly embarrassed in the ring (and make no mistake, his performance was embarrassing) was tough.

I was rooting for Pac Man but I felt bad for De La Hoya by the end. It wasn't close from start to finish. At the bar where I watched the fight, it felt more like people wanted De La Hoya to lose than Pacquiao to win.

I wanted Pacquiao to win, if for no other reason than the fact that it's better for the sport, but I wanted De La Hoya to have a good showing at least.
