This "Obama is a socialist" thing is getting way out of hand. It's funny that this didn't become McCains mantra until mid October when the progressiv e tax structure has been Obama's plan for months.

Ive seen him salute the flag and say the pledge of allegiance...

It's funny that you guys can dish it out but you can't take it...not saying I agree with the message, but I've seen much worse things said about Bush over the last 8 years.

I saw  him wipe his ass with the amercian flag once.

Bush drove your economy into the mud, made the world a more dangerous place,  ruined  America's relationship with the international community, and threw away innocent lives for an unjust war... how exactly do you have anything nice left to say about him?

It's not that I don't appreciate you stirring the pot. It's the notion that criticisms of a president with a blatantly horrendous record and reputation are "worse" than racist, McCarthyistic and otherwise false attacks on a potentially historic presidential candidate.

There's obviously a difference between communism and socialism.  "Spreading the wealth around" is a term actually outside the mainstream Democratic party.  He may have socialistic tendencies but the flyer is using the term "communism" as a scare tactic.  Also, isn't there a video with him actually pledging the allegiance?  Dumbasses.  As far as being friends with Ayers, I believe Obama is closer to him than he's leading us to believe...but who cares- doesn't mean Obama is the same as him. I don't think Obama will bomb the Pentagon(wait, maybe he already did...)

 

Something they got right and that I'm surprised hasn't come up in this election is his quotation " I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."  Of course, this could be used out of context.  But I think it's important to realize that Obama isn't frikin God. People treat him like he can do no wrong.  He obviously has his flaws.  If you can't play devil's advocate with yourself then you can't be taken seriously.

Obama isn't Socialism. However, $700 billion bailout plan sorta is.
