HUGH HEFNER has fuelled reports he's facing bankruptcy after opening the doors of his infamous Playboy Mansion to the public - for a fee.

Last month (Sep08), Hefner was reportedly advised to dismiss employees in his Los Angeles and New York offices to avoid financial ruin.

I just tried to sell some Vanguard funds, and I got an error.  Looks like the website is conveniently broken at the moment.

I always found  Hugh kind of interesting because he handed the family business over to his daughter and made her CEO/heir apparent - it was kind of like he was empowering women? So much for that.

I seem to recall Larry Flynt saying something a while back about how porn business will always be profitable no matter how the market is doing. So much for that.

Not necessarily 'so much for that'... that doesn't mean every business or company will succeed. It means the sector CAN succeed.
