I missed this when it happened, but with the magic of the internet it's here.

 

Clearly, Kimbo has been exploited in this medium...He was a 'legend', as the announcer so aptly put, in the online street fighting realm but he cannot be expected to perform at the capacity of professional (and veteran) MMA fighters...

I like Kimbo a lot. Seems like a cool guy, but I always felt it was lame how people that didn't know anything about MMA thought he was a great fighter. Anyone that follows MMA remotely knew he was not on the level of guys that truly are great.

 

I don't blame him at all. He was definitely exploited and people ate it up. At least he made some $$$.

 

In any case this is the baddest Heavyweight below and arguably the greatest fighter on the planet:

Not necessarily in that order but I'd say Fedor is the best fighter on the planet. He doesn't seem to have any weaknesses.

But, yes, he seems like a very solid human being...Government testing, perhaps?

he might not be human.

It's basically training vs lack of training.

 

I'll say Slice is a good natural fighter and he can pack a huge wallop, but you can't come into a ring with people (in the same weight class) who have been practicing multiple martial art disciplines  for years and expect to beat the best, much less the mediocre.

 

Also, why am I on this board at 5:30 in the moring?  It must be the steel reserve...

 even if kimbo had trained his whole life it's tough to say he'd be great or at the top level. it's kinda like saying a good street ball player could be an nba-all star if he played organized ball.

I don't watch MMA ,but it seems like Kimbo loses every time he has a match.

It was funny but it wasnt really a KO. Kimbo threw a punch, missed, it look like he got kicked in the face and was cut above the eye. It looked like luck to me. Kimbo was standing in like 5 seconds. what a waste of fight.
