I just started an internship with this publisher, Chronicle Books, and they're putting out a book consisting of factsheets for various Republicans. Here's the one on Palin:
For the record, Biden killed it although the gay marriage discussion struck me as childish pandering. |

Biden killed it?
That flow chart is so good. I swear she had a "repeat" program latched to her brain. |

Not trainwrecking is perceived a win for her. Its a crime that these kind of low expectations are acceptable for someone who is a heart attack away from the presidency. If The McCain/Palin ticket pulls through, Americans are fucking dumber than she is.
I understand that people vote for the President and not the VP... but if Americans think that it's ok to have a dimwitted 2nd in command because Ol' 'Maverick' #1 has got a ton of experience for everyone... than thats just irresponsible.
That flow chart Pill posted is perfect. |

I hope SNL harps on Palin's grotesque use of "marverick" like they did with Gore and "lockbox."
Wow, it's been a while since I've been looking forward to SNL. |

Yeah it's intersting he used the word "spin" since I don't have partisan loyalties. I guess everyone sees someone else's view as a spin if it's not the way they think.

We all use spin to some degree because we all have opinions. And that's a good thing. It's just bad when people advertise their spin as "fair and balanced."
Your opinion holds as much water (and spin) as anyone elses. |

I didn't say I was "fair and balanced." I said I was nonpartisan. A "fair and balanced" opinion, if there is one around, is certainly not bad and definitely can "hold more water." It's the effin Three Gorges Dam!
My opinion certainly doesn't carry more weight...But "fair and balanced" has nothing to do with that. The fact that I actually defend and criticize both candidates and not just one would usually qualify as being more fair. Someone can be fair but still completely wrong....or the opposite as well.

Dukkookim, you can't honestly say you don't have partisan loyalties.
Well, I suppose you can. However, you're fooling no one. Just admit it. No ones gonna fault you for it. I'll think less of you. But I won't fault you for it... ;) |

Nope. none. I'm so non-partisan there should be another name for it. "Dukkookimisnismim..."
Honestly, I think both parties are funny. It's come to a point to where we see life through the lens of the party we belong to. Which is one of the reasons I love Obama...because for as cliche as it sounds, he sees it more as one America and an issue of bringing mankind together...not just advancing certain platforms of certain ideaologies. The antonym of this would be the Bushleaguer. |

Dukk, I wasn't taking a shot at you. That was against FOXNews. I wasn't trying to cite you specifically, I was speaking in generalities, sorry f it came off as an attack. I think we're generally in agreement.

Oh my bad. The "your" and reference to spin threw me off. Yeah and the thing about FOXnews is that they lean to the right -and Oreilly really leans to the right...so they're in no place to use the "no spin" card.
