Current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva told Brazilian cable channel SporTV that he will retire from MMA fighting next year. He's arguably the best pound for pound fighter and is only 33-years-old. There's now of course speculation that he will want to enter the boxing ring and fight Roy Jones Jr.

"I'll retire next year, I already gave my all. I don't need to prove anything for anyone and within one year I'll put my gloves aside."
