Anybody watch this one? Crazy ending to this game. Chargers should have recovered a fumble, but the referee whistled the play dead. Ouch. |

NFL refs are by far the worst professional officials in sports. And the NFL has the most awful and ridiculous set of rules in professional sports. Makes games painful to watch.

Worse than NBA? I think NFL refs are pretty bad -but not as bad as the NBA crew.

I dont really watch much NBA... But I watch enough of both to say definitively that the NFL is worse.
However, that is by no means a ringing endorsement of the NBA. |

The NBA is pretty shitty when it comes to officiating and they do have a habbit of mixing up how often they use the whistle, but the NFL blows the big calls much more frequently.

Yeah except when it's playoff time the best NFL refs are used and it isn't that bad. Come playoff time in the NBA, however, and it's worse. It's also much harder to be a football ref than an NBA one. Not that I'm excusing their habit of incompentence.
