just saw it tonight.  on first viewing it was good but not the best cohen bros., as per most of the reviews and comments (av club holla) but it definitely wore their hallmarks of brutal dark humor and i like to watch things a couple of times before weighing too heavily on artistic merit ( i find myself regurgitating hackneyed stock phrases that are repurposed review after review for whatever album or film i've been reading about i.e., the dark knight was "dark" but alas i'm addicted to reading about this shit so it clouds my judgement).  anyways if you do get a chance to see it, weigh in your opinions.  i thought george clooney was the fucking donkey nuts in this movie, everbody was pretty spot on and all but he took the cake for me.  i don't want to ruin the movie with spoilers but it's not heavy on dialogue that's hilarious, like the big lebowski or raising arizona, it's more in the vein of barton fink which i thought paid off huge with john goodman in the end, so in conclusion maybe i went in with the wrong expectations but i definitely will see it again sometime.
