Right now, Michael Phelps is basically the most popular kid in high school. With the high school being the United States. Will be interesting to see what happens to the Olympics ratings in the U.S. now that swimming is now completed. Even his rumored love interests/girlfriends are finding themselves high on the Google Trends charts.

The only gold medal that really matters to me is mens ice hockey. Everything else is just gravy.

Hey if Canada cant get a gold medal in the only sport that the govt actually funnels $$$'s into, than were officially pathetic.

I do however hate overly patriotic Canadians that brag and brag about the red and white, but get pissed at flag waving jingoistic Americans like they're being any different.

Yeah me too. I love watching/playing hockey. I played until High School and had to quit because the town I lived in only had teams for kids under 15. I wish it was more popular here.
