I don't know how I feel about this. At best I htink they're a wild card team, but they didn't give up much for him. I'm sad to see Chad Pennington go though.

Ya, I was okay with Pennington on that team.
Honestly, Favre should have stayed retired.

I liked Pennington and always rooted for him, but this move makes the Jets exciting all of a sudden.

Pretty cool clause for Favre being traded from the Jets to the Vikings.
Green Bay gets three first round picks from the Jets if it happens. |

I'm a Packers and Jets fan, so at least I don't have to hate him now. But seriously, when the news was announced, I thought my brain would hemorrhage.

I went to college with Pennington, so my loyalty is with him, but he deserves better than this. Thanks for eight years...

they said Favre was either 18-4 or 22-4 in his last 22 or 26 games. that's pretty amazing.

mburr, do you also like Moss as well? I once saw this great pic of him and Chad hugging after a game when he was with the Raiders and he had on this ridiculous white mink coat on (Moss). I think it's pretty cool that they're still good friends.
I agree with you on doing Chad dirty. I don't like Mangini as a Jets fan and the front office too. They seem to have that aura like they've already won something. It's almost like the way the Mets did Willie Randolph. |
