I ride a bike to work. I enjoy it... except when im sucking on fumes in 30degree heat... then its shit.

Who knows what the guy did, but that looked like a total dick move by the cop.  Cil got arrested during one of these too.  They zip tied her wrists together so hard they gave her bruises!

 

Cops don't bother me when I ride my bike alone, so I think the lesson learned here is critical mass is pointless.

In my 5 years living in NYC, I've come to the realization that "New York's finest" refers solely to the firefighters.  I've had a lot of experiences(since i have a car) with cops that are the biggest dicks, including a cop who used 2 fingers and his tongue(i wonder if there's a way to text-type this) to make sexual gestures to 2 girls with me.

There was a hundred bikes going along.  What could have possibly inspired that dumbass to tackle only one of them?

Just as I tag N.W.A. in a post, a fuck the police is in order.

I don't feel that bad for the guy. He's rich now.

I was watching the news today and the cop (Patrick Pogan) is assigned to desk duty while they investigate.

Remember the video I posted of a Critical Mass bicyclist who got knocked over by NYPD officer Patrick Pogan? Fox News reports that Pogan's been indicted and must report to the Manhattan prosecutor's office next week.

Police said Long was obstructing traffic and deliberately steered his bicycle into an officer. Charges were dismissed.

A video of the body-check that knocked Long over was posted on YouTube and has been viewed more than 1.6 million times.

Pogan has been stripped of his badge and gun and been assigned to desk duty.
