Its sunny out and its St Patty's day. I have a group of freinds who all took the day off to sit at the bar for 11 hours drinking black n tans,  while chowing down on Irish stew. 

*sigh* I shoulda burned a sick day today. 

I also thought about burning one today. If I were in school this semester I'd definitely be celebrating.

Bunch of friends are heading here for 8.

i saw that the other day on /slashfilm.

I want tacos and refried beans.

I have all of it at home.

Just needs cooked.

I don't want to cook.

I think i'll have pizza.

So I picked up Street Fighter 4 the other night... What's with the fuckin theme music?? That shit is excruciating.

So I'm playin it and my kids watching. My wife is all... " I dont think thats age appropriate".

I figure... cartoon violence right... its not so bad. Plus there's no blood so its all good. Then I turn to my kid and give him the, "its just tv and none of its real buddy... you can't do this kind of stuff in real life cause its just pretend."  speech.  So with my cleansed conscious I continue whipping ass with Blanka.

 Fast forward to 3am... The boy wakes up crying saying that there's a green monster by the curtains. "Hes trying to shock me" he says. I try to explain to him that theres no green monster, and that it was just a game. An hour later he wakes up again crying about monsters under his bed and that he wants to sleep in our bed.

Wife is giving off the "I told you so" vibes at this point, and I feel like a wack ass dad. So lesson learned, cartoon violence is still pretty real for a 3 year old kid. Either that or my guy is a total wuss.

Back to playing the wii fit I guess.
