I would not be happy about this. Keep T-Mac in Houston unless it's for a top 10 guy.

The Detroit Pistons, we hear, are making a big pitch to the Houston Rockets for perennial all-star Tracy McGrady.

However, the way the Pistons are going, they're going to become irrelevant before the Celtics do. There is no title on the horizon for this Detroit team without shaking things up.

 

Rip Hamilton ($10.8m) + Antonio McDyess ($6.8m) for Tracy McGrady. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Screw Tracy McGreedy.   He's a whiny bitch who only plays for the money.  Him and Steve Francis are the NBA's biggest boogers.  I'd hate to see him on the Pistons 'cause they usually have a really tough, respectable, defensive team.  McGreedy would kill their dynamic.  He's a black hole.

I think McGrady is far from a black hole. He had that terrible season in Orlando, but he makes his teammates better and is a great playmaker. He's definitely lost a step since his younger days, but he's still one of the league's best.

I woudln't mind seeing him on another team.

 

I don't see this happening. Houston hasn't given the Yao/Tracy combo a real chance to succeed yet. I don't see them throwing it away unless there were at least 2 healthy seasons of disappointment.

I'm not saying he isn't one of the league's best.  He is.  He's just a dink who I'd hate see ruin another perfectly good team.  He's fine where he is, along side Yao, who is possibly the most boring player to watch in NBA history.

I root for this guy. I think he's done his best to win and shouldered the blame even when it wasn't his fault. He's said all the right things. 

 

Hope he gets a deep run some day.  

T-Mac puts up great numbers but i'm not sure if he fits with the pistons. I'm not sure I'd give up Rip Hamilton for him.
