Damn. I don't know anything about service from Rogers, but $30 sounds pretty great although a three-year plan is pretty lengthy

...Rogers will be offering a promotional 6GB data plan for $30 bucks a month if you activate a three-year contract before August 31—not the unlimited data we Yanks will be using, but pretty close.

My three year Bell contract ends in August.

I'm not getting an iPhone - I'll spend too much time on Prefix.

And after doing some pricing with Rogers it'll cost me $67 for unlimited texting, 1000 minutes, and the unlimited plan.

That sounds pretty sweet except I don't need Interwebz on my phone. 

Omni's, where can I find a good review of the 3G? 

Bell is horrible. Their customer service is only available like 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. They jacked me for 200 bux when I switched to Virgin Mobile, even though my contract with them was expired.

And the Beavers ad campaign has long outlived its charm.

They're going to start charging for incoming text messages in August.

I have the first gen and love it even without a data plan... would highly recommend it. Also, the App store looks killer. I did some training on it today and it looks pretty sweet! 

Maybe I'll look into one without the data plan.
