This momentous shift comes in the form of a new JC Penney ad, in which the thoroughly middlebrow retailer has a few laughs about two teen luvahs learning to put their clothes on quickly enough to avoid the mom of the house walking in on them doing the nasty. Forget the whole Miley Cyrus photo uproar!

Who are they trying to target? Do teenagers even buy clothes at JC Penney?

$5 says the creator of the vid fesses up in a week, and it won't be JC Penney.

 I actually worked at a JC Penney's in high school.

I talked with Steve of Adrants and apparently the commercial won an award at Cannes without JC Penny's approval. It was done by a separate production agency and JC Penny ended up rejecting it. 

So the agency leaked the commercial?

 

I remember thinking my job at JC Penney as a cashier was pretty sweet.  

Yeah. 

 It was never picked up so it's odd that it was able to win an award at Cannes.
