I live on the top floor of a two-family house, and the house is being foreclosed. Now, this isn't that big of a problem, since my roommates and were are all planning to leave July-August anyway. But do I still owe rent to my landlord? We gave him a sec. deposit which I know I won't see back, plus does he even have a right to collect rent now sicne it's being foreclosed? Hes been a real d-bag the whole time, in the winter there'd be nights without heat and he'd forget to pay the electric bill or fix the shower for MONTHS...so I don't wreally wanna pay him one cent more.

What did you do in those months without a shower? ...The infamous sink bath? 

Ya, I wouldn't pay anything else. Maybe you can get some money back going to court?

It wasn't bad, like it was just a drip we wanted fixed, but there was a week where someone came to fix it, but it just made the water come out of the showerhead nonstop and it was freezing cold (this was like february) and we couldn't turn it off. Those were the days I filled up warm water with a gatorade bottle from the sink and hovered over to take a bath. Terrrible.
