We should have a thread dedicated to the number of times I attempt to travel - especially to New York. I'm taking a bus to NYC for an arrival sometime on the 30th. Got a pair of tickets for the Giants/Cowboys and looking to get a pair for the Oilers/Islanders game but the trek to and from Nassau Coliseum looks like a giant pain in the ass. |

It shouldn't be that bad. If you're staying around midtown, there is a train to the Meadowlands and also should be one on the LIRR to the Islanders. I'd check the MTA web site, since they run LIRR.

Dipseth to the rescue. Still haven't booked a place (we're trying to keep it on the cheap) but Great Neck and Brooklyn are the front runners. |

Yeah sorry we didn't meet up Bob. I was busy getting yelled at by an Australian supermodel in Williamsburg.

NYC was pretty awesome. Cowboys-Giants game was probably the best part. Didn't see the Oilers/Islanders but saw a bunch of cool stuff instead. For the most part we hung out in a bar that played only hockey games (Canada U20>USA U20). We had Australian waitresses yell at us there! Australians are everywhere!

Glad NYC treated you right. Let me know next time you come through. I'll give you the tour but I'm not watching too much hockey
