I think its a mess. 

Sites seem to be moving towards throwing as much onto the page as possible. I guess it sort of imitates the front page of a newspaper but I find it overwhelming. The hell I am going to go through all that.

Do you think it's messier than before though? I thought the last version of Pfork had more stuff and was more cluttered, but maybe that's just my perception.

Overall, I think it looks better and cleaner making it easier to read. Might be a little to plain though but I do think it's an improvement.

I liked the previous version way better. 

The serifs they used before on the different sections helped differentiate the content.

Now it's hard to tell section header's from article headers... theres no contrast on this layout now it's hard to find anywhere to focus.
