I actually hate Molson. Im all for local micro breweries.
But if were talking cheap national domestic piss Labatt 50 is the way to go.  

My American brand would probably be Miller High life; calling yourself the "Champagne of Beers" is a claim so bold I have to give them points for sheer gusto alone.

And all told, my fave cheap beer is PBR. I have a case of it my fridge right now. It was eight bucks. Can't go wrong with a beer that cheap. But I realize this makes me a hipster. I guess? Though corner bars in my hometown sell it unironically (they have PBR signs, because they serve it as their number one), so does that make me authentic? 

$7? WHAT THE FUCK? I bought a twelve pack of long necks for only one dollar more here. 

Though, I guess Molson is an "import" here, so it too is more expensive than it should be. 

I don't buy it as a statement--it's just the cheapest shit. At the venues I go to for shows, a pint is never more than $3, while MGD et al are usually $3.50 or $4. I can't imagine living in a place where alcohol is so expensive. I can get shots of Jamey for like $3 too. So I can get lit the fuck up for like $15. 

dude PBR is a near dollar beer at the beer store, and the best one on offer imo...

and molson is the worst. all I drink is mill street and big rock.
