Hershey had to have the procedures performed in Brazil because they are considered unethical in the state of Texas: The limit in Texas is 1,000 cubic centimeters of silicone in each breast. Hershey says she idolized Dolly Parton growing up: "I want to look better each day, every day". Fox News' Dr. Manny Alvarez' reaction to the story was that more surgeries would be "dangerous" and "inappropriate". The procedures could ultimately lead to pinched nerves, muscle spasms, neck and back pain, scar tissue infections and vascular issues.
