Just now on the NBA on TNT in an interview with Ernie Johnson he said "for right now, the next year or two, I'm not going to gamble."

"I have no financial worries whatsoever....it was my fault."

Oh snap they put up one of the going fishing photos for the Hornets and photoshopped Chris Paul into the pic with Rick Flair and Brad Pitt.

For some reason Chris Webber and Charles Barkley kept standing up for Rick Flair.

"You gotta live Rick Flair alone."  "I love Nature Boy."

If I could party with one celebrity I'd probably pick Sir Charles.

Yeah, it was the only time I remember those guys being completely serious for a whole segment.

Just saw this article too:

Immediately following Barkley's proclamation that he was paid in full, Clark County D.A. David Roger told the Las Vegas Sun, "We have no evidence to suggest that he has made any payments. We have neither heard from Mr. Barkley nor received restitution from him."

What in the heck is going on? Could Barkley have proclaimed he was all settled up when he really wasn't?

Looks like he paid:

...Charles Barkley has finally forked over a check toward the $440,000 he owes the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas -- but officials have yet to confirm that Barkley paid in full.

Barkley Pokering Again

...

but Charles Barkley is back playing poker in Vegas.

But here's the rub -– the Round Mound says that it's all for charity. He's scheduled to play in a celebrity poker tourney -- the "Ante Up for Africa" event -- at the 2008 World Series of Poker.
