I agree that this is way too late. 

 

MTV's animated 90's show Beavis and Butthead could be making its way to the big screen as a live-action feature, according to creator Mike Judge.

Judge recalls that at one point Johnny Depp wanted to play Beavis – with Marlon Brando as Butthead.

“For some reason, I used to hate the idea for years,” says Judge of a live-action Beavis & Butthead. "Now, I think maybe there’s something there.”

Two names being bandied about are Sean William Scott and Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder.

Beavis and Butthead are dicks, but they aren't clowns, so I wouldn't want to see Sean William Scott in there.  Jon Heder could be cool, so long as it doesn't end up being Beavis and Napoleon.

Jon Heder I think could work I still don't like the idea of it.

Maybe that's his answer for this super-heroe-movie-craze.

 I doubt that it will translate well, they will probably over do it. I'll watch it, but it will be with the lowest expectations.

I thought beavis and butthead do america was a pretty underrated flick.

Really, I don't think it would be any worse than most movies put out recently. It could be a potential sleeper movie for the winter cinema lull. And more importantly, probably become a cult dvd amoung college crowds.

Not clowns in the Sean William Scott sense.  Clowns are slapstick, not dumb.

I did like Beavis and Butthead do Amercia. I liked the soundtrack at the time too.  Come to think of it, I think I have it on VHS somewhere...

Yeah I have it on VHS.  Rollercoaster of Love by RHCP was on it and had a cool video with Beavis and Butthead in it.
