Maybe that 3-year $21 million contract that he was offered in 2004 by the T-wolves wasn't enough to feed his family.

the other day a co-worker and I were trying to compare Spree, and I said I didn't really remember his Golden State days (blue and yellow jersey-era) aside from choking Carlesimo. But my friend was saying the closest he could compare him to in his heyday was to Dwyane Wade. Let's just hope D-wade doesn't waste all his money on Star Jones and end up like Spree.

He was great in his GS years. He seemed to have a highlight dunk every game and had a good three. I can't think of a great player to compare him to now but if I had to pick a guy it'd be Manu Ginobli but more athletic and more of an open court guy and of course less of a flopper.

Manu only: less athletic more open floor less of a flopper?
I think if you have three characteristics on a list, they aren't that compmarable lol
How bout a guy like J.R. Smith.. only I think Spree is a bit taller. |
