Hello Canadian dudes, 

I know we've had our laffs about how you guys pay your bills in Maple Syrup and half hockey pucks, but I enjoy your country. So much so, I've leapt at the opportunity to come to Montreal for the upcoming M for Montreal festival. I will be up there from Nov 17-21, and if any of y'all want to come up (or down, I'm not aware of Canadian geography) it'd be cool/weird to interact with you in a non-Internet context. So, if y'all are interested, let's talk. Just don't tell Banger. It's probably a short drive from Ohio (again, not aware of Canadian geography).

Toronto is 5 hours away... but a weekend in Montreal is always good times, I might be up for this.

Some questions about Montreal/Canada:

1. Can I pay for stuff in American dollars? Or do I need to convert to Canadian/Hockey equipment?

2. Is Montreal as awesome as everyone says it is (specifically the strip clubs?)?

3. Just how cold is it going to be?

4. Can I catch an Expos game?

5. Anything I need to do to get the Montreal experience? 

i might try and meet up with the andross too. i don't think my gf will let me go to the land of the strip clubs solo though so she'd probably be going with me.

No. I had to work, and tickets were going for like $100 on Craigslist. The Schoenrocks and I live like five minutes from downtown and it was fucking bonkers afterwards, even out where we live. 

Daba- You should definitely come up. It'll be crazy.

Sorry if I seem like Opie, but can I convert to Canadian in Canada, or do I need to do it at O'Hare, or something?

Ive only partied with daba once. But I helped him land his future wife... so I guess it was pretty epic. 

I'm at a conference in San Diego that week... but that is going to be pretty damn r.0, Montreal is the best...

Also, Al you ever tried the reuben at Corned Beef House on Adelaide? Shit made me think the lineup at Schwartz's isn't necessarily worth it...
