i guess my initial impulse is to list big names that i was psyched to score a pass for, but i'll pass on that...in terms of what was going on on stage, the lighting, the music, and the energy, it'd be tough to downplay the ATP/NY in general, and mogwai in specifics.  awesome show, great weekend.

Another one which comes immediately to mind was the Mudhoney/Cynics show this year...true rock and roll power, just totally life-affirming to see these acts out there and playing as good as they did 20 years ago.

but seeing andrew bird and the new pornographers was absolutely phenomenal.
