if any of you are pining for the glory days of grunge, you should seek out 'Is It Day I'm Seeing' from The Fluid, such a straight-up kick-ass rock tune.

That song just sounds like a male Cocorosie to me. Maybe I need to listen to the whole album.

Bought one of the last batch of tickets for Sunday @ Pitchfork though. I don't think I can miss the chance to see a reunited Pavement. Also, Lightning Bolt plays that day. Totally worth the $40.

Babement is a great idea. When I was in college two nicknames that luckily didn't stick too hard except amongst some of the indie rock kids I hung with were Davement and Sebadave.

Last Saturday i had the pleasure of seeing Beach House live for the first time; BSS with Feist, Haines and the equally lovely Lobsinger; and a Pavement reunion that had me grunge dancing like a fiend...

Potentially my best day evarr..

^ I feel like the new album is just more condusive to the live set.. I mean they played Gila and Heart of Chambers, which are both awesome songs, but they just lack the live presence of tracks like Walk in the Park or Silver Soul...
