Looks like Maura Johnston is leaving Idolator. I wonder who's going to be the new editor and what changes will take place over there.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that today is my last day as editor of Idolator. The site will continue on, and I will continue to write about music, but we’ve decided to part ways. Despite my nominal status as a “writer,” I am straight-up terrible at goodbyes. So I just have a list of people to thank before I exit stage left.

we have way more visitors but i think they have a strong regular readership. we have way more people that just come in off searching for weezy than them i bet. we'll improve our regular readership in the future though. i just want that 100k visitors a day mark first.

I was not a fan of that site under the Johnston/Harvell regime. It reeked of blandness, though it had gotten better in its post-Gawker days.

I think all the bad press/comments the site's getting now actually has it's traffic up a bit. haha.
